Job Context:
∎ Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV) is a non-government, non-profit, Bangladeshi organization providing lifesaving nutrition support to the FDMN Rohingya as well as adjacent affected host community people of Cox`s Bazar under its integrated nutrition program. As part of Nutrition interventions in support of UNICEF (under Health and Gender Support Project (HGSP)), SARPV is working to promote and encourage appropriate IYCF and caring practices, including early initiation of breastfeeding within one hour of birth, exclusive breastfeeding for infants under 6 months, timely introduction of complementary foods, ensuring dietary diversity and frequency of complementary feeding and continued breastfeeding up to the age of 2 years and beyond, vital measures to prevent malnutrition and maternal and child mortality.
∎ Employment Status: Contractual, until 30th April 2023 (Contract is expected to be extended).
∎ Job Location: Chakaria, Maheshkhali & Pekua upazila of Cox`s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ A)Finance- Manage petty cash and keep a daily record of all cash transactions.
∎ Prepare checks and bank transfers for authorized payments as instructed by the supervisor.
∎ Carry out banking activities and payments to vendors as instructed by the supervisor.
∎ Assist in the recording of transactions into the accounting system as and when instructed by the supervisor.
∎ Ensure that all payment requests have accurate and complete supporting documents and are duly authorized, posted, and filed in a secured location.
∎ Ensure that relevant formats for the CD and MB sessions are available at the field level.
∎ Ensure that session-related documents are collected, cross-checked, and submitted to the Manager on time.
∎ Reconcile office general ledger accounts; provide fully reconciled reports detailing income, expenditure, and cash reconciliations.
∎ B)Procurement - Carry out procurement tasks and prepare all required procurement-related documentation under established policies and procedures and donor requirements.
∎ Draft Purchase Orders and Service/Supply Contracts for review by the Senior Finance & Admin Officer and Program Manager
∎ Monitor service contracts to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and ensure timely processing of payments to vendors/contractors for goods and services received.
∎ Develop and maintain a database for suppliers /vendors for reference purposes.
∎ Provide quality assurance on supplies and ensure "value for money" in all its purchases and services.
∎ Track utility usage and payments and prepare payment requests in the financial system as per respective contracts and invoices.
∎ C)Asset & Stock Management - Coordinate with the Program Manager on asset and property insurance
∎ Organize asset disposals when needed following established procedures.
∎ Maintain an efficient system of tracking and replenishing office and field supplies.
∎ D)Others - Any other relevant assignment that is given by the Line Manager/Supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 02 years of experience in the relevant field.

Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
