We are looking for a Finance & HR Coordinator who is energetic, disciplined, and proactive with a strong understanding of accounts, finance, banking, VAT & Tax issues, NGOAB recording and reporting, budgeting, internal and external audit. The Finance & HR Coordinator is responsible for Finance & HR department of MedGlobal Country Office, Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
Finance and Accounts:
Review bill vouchers of MedGlobal Bangladesh Country offices and ensure payment after getting the approval from appropriate authorities.
Deal with the bank and keep track of fund flow and prepare monthly bank reconciliation report.
Ensure and calculate Govt. Vat & Tax and maintain separate register as per NGOAB, NBR requirement.
Monitoring Advance management systems and ensure timely adjustment of advances.Preparation of both the internal and external audit process as required. and check compliance of last internal & External audit report including settlement of receivables and payables.
Ensure timely month-end financial data uploading for internal and donor reporting.
Support for preparing donor budget, FD6 & FD7 budget as well as organization master budget.Responsible for Local government compliance like Expats staff return, withholding tax, 108 & 108A, monthly Vat & Tax return prepare and submit to tax office, country office return.
Ensure for NGO Affairs Bureau on statutory compliance requirements and getting approval and fund clearance.
Coordinate with other ministries on approvals, and statutory and legal compliances in adherence to country law. Coordinate and liaise with various government and local area authorities for statutory and legal compliances as per local law.
Technical support in field office on finance-related issues.Calculate yearly staff salary tax and prepare tax certificate for staff.
Keep a record of transaction and preparation of all kinds of vouchers in software processes on a regular basis.
To perform any other assignment as by the concern authority in time to time
Human Resources and Administration:
Ensure all employment practices for nationally recruited staff comply with local labor laws, seek advice from local lawyers, and benchmark with other NGOs in-country as applicable.
Work with relevant colleagues to ensure the preparation, payment, and record-keeping of staff salaries and/or allowances is done in a timely manner and in accordance with local employment regulations, ensuring that all required statutory deductions are made and subsequently paid to the appropriate authorities.
Ensure all employees have a personnel file containing all relevant documentation and information and archived according to MedGlobal policy, local law, and any donor requirements.
Ensure line managers/team members receive any necessary training, advice, mentoring, or coaching on performance management or any other relevant areas of finance and HR.
Maintain open and frequent communication with field management and the HQ level concerning all HR issues.
Ensure team members are informed of the required HR procedures and be available to answer any HR related questions and to provide coaching and guidance as necessary.
Ensure relevant HR and accountancy documentation are made available to staff in a language they understand.
Ensure all nationally recruited staff have a current employment contract.
Co-ordinate the recruitment process for new/vacant positions in conjunction with the country representative and the Regional HR Manager-HQ. This includes job descriptions, advertising, short-lists, interviews, and the appointment.
Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints and harassment allegations, and conducts investigations accordingly.
