Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Managing all finance and accounting operations;
∎ Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances;
∎ Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements;
∎ Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition;
∎ Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting;
∎ Research technical accounting issues for compliance;
∎ Support month-end and year-end close process;
∎ Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
∎ Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings;
∎ Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
∎ Oversee the financial accounting, management, monitoring and reporting systems;
∎ Support individual enterprise to manage budgets and prepare forecasting reports;
∎ Analyze financial reports and present findings to the management;
∎ Review organizational financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs;
∎ Identify risks, propose solutions and manage stakeholder expectations;
∎ Monitor monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries;
∎ Manage audit processes of current systems;
∎ Monitor financial details to ensure legal requirements are met;
∎ Develop external relationships with Auditors, Solicitors, Bankers and Statutory Organizations;
∎ Drive continuous improvement of accounting practices.
