Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance, preferably in NGO or project-based environments.
Experience supporting field-based operations in remote or decentralized settings (experience in CHT preferred).
Familiarity with donor compliance, cost allocation principles, and financial reporting.
Practical knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar ERP systems).
POSITION SUMMARY
The Finance Assistant will support the financial management of the Project, ensuring compliance with Helen Keller Intl’s financial policies, internal controls, and donor regulations.
Under the supervision of the Team Leader and with a functional reporting line to the Country Office Finance team, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, supporting partner fund management, and assisting with budget tracking and reporting.
This position plays a key role in ensuring accountability, transparency, and efficiency in the financial operations of the project.
