Educational Requirements:
∎ Must have Masters in Accounting or other related subjects such as CA (CC Complete) or ICMA course.

Job Context:
∎ CRD has been awarded a multi-year research project titled "Gender Gap in Financial Inclusion in Bangladesh" by one of the leading US based Foundations. The research aims to conduct a diagnostic analysis to identify gender gaps in financial inclusion in Bangladesh, which lags significantly behind that of men. This research will engage a vibrant research team, academics and financial experts. To support the research team, CRD is looking for suitable candidates for its multiple positions. Duration of the research project is November 2021- 30 April 2024.
∎ Report To : Project Director (Matrix to CEO)
∎ Position Type : Regular
∎ Duration of the contract: 2 years

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure overall financial management of the project.
∎ Take initiative to develop financial policy and procedures.
∎ Ensure financial compliance of the donor.
∎ Drafting and finalizing financial reports.
∎ Prepare financial statements, activity reports, and financial forecasts.
∎ Drafting and presenting monthly financial status of the project.
∎ Ensure timely payment of the project staff (both part time and full time), consultants and other stakeholders as required and suggested by the reporting authority.
∎ Ensure that the project's financial records and recordkeeping methods are in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
∎ Periodically review the organization's financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
∎ Manage require procurement
∎ Manage and ensure staffs benefit (group health insurance)
∎ Managing VAT/Tax compliance and per GoB rules.
∎ Ensure all relevant government laws and rules are followed.
∎ Develop and maintain project assets
∎ Provide logistics support as and when required.
∎ Any other work assigned by supervisor or management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Relevant work experience of 3-5 years in research centre/development organization/academia.
∎ Skilled in drafting financial reporting.
∎ Skilled in both manual and software based financial operations.
∎ Familiar with financial compliance of US leading Foundations.

Salary: Tk. 60000 - 70000 (Monthly)
