Job Context:
∎ A high level of English language proficiency is imperative as close collaboration with the UK finance team is a fundamental aspect of this role.
∎ Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the factory.
∎ Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
∎ Prepare and manage financial budgets, forecasts, and reports.
∎ Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing strategic recommendations to improve results.
∎ Collaborate closely with the UK finance team, ensuring alignment with global financial objectives.
∎ Led and mentor the finance and accounts team in Dhaka.
∎ Manage financial audits and compliance with local and international financial regulations.
∎ Provide financial data and analysis for strategic decision-making.
∎ Manage banking and treasury functions.
∎ Report directly to the MD Here and work closely with the UK-based finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
∎ Manage and supervise the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
∎ Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to the management team.
∎ Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with tax and financial reporting obligations.
∎ Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and ensure proper cash management procedures are in place.
∎ Perform regular financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost control, revenue enhancement, and overall financial performance improvement.
∎ Maintain and strengthen internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory obligations.
∎ Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to optimize financial services and funding arrangements.
∎ Provide financial insights and support to the management team for strategic decision-making and business planning.
∎ Any Other task Assigned by Management.
