Responsibilities & Context:
  • Design and deliver need-based training programs focused on legal aid, disability inclusion, advocacy, and community empowerment.

  • Provide structured computer literacy and assistive-technology training for visually impaired students, ensuring they gain practical digital skills for education, communication, and employment.

  • Develop accessible and inclusive training modules, manuals, handouts, and other learning materials under the supervision of the project lead.

  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and capacity-building sessions using inclusive teaching methods that accommodate diverse learning needs.

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning requirements among stakeholders and community members.

  • Engage and coordinate with relevant stakeholders—community leaders, government agencies, NGOs, legal aid offices, financial institutions, and persons with disabilities—to strengthen capacity-building initiatives.

  • Build partnerships with organizations and technical experts to enhance the quality and impact of training interventions.

  • Implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of capacity development activities and document outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate records, activity reports, participant feedback, and all necessary documentation related to training and advocacy events.

  • Support the event organizer and team members in planning and executing advocacy meetings at various levels with government and non-government bodies.

  • Represent VIPS and its partners in advocacy, awareness, and capacity-building events organized by donors and development agencies.

  • Plan, execute, and follow up on capacity development events, ensuring ongoing communication and mentoring with trained participants.
