Responsibilities & Context:
  • Overall project management and monitoring of the ODHIKAR project.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve the objectives of the ODHIKAR project.

  • Oversee comprehensive web accessibility enhancements to ensure all information is accessible to individuals with visual disabilities.

  • Coordinate the mobilization and dissemination of key policy documents in accessible formats to empower the disability community.

  • Design and implement capacity-building initiatives targeting stakeholders in legal aid, inclusive development, and advocacy

  • Organize targeted meetings with government officials to advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities.

  • Establish strategic collaborations with legal aid agencies and financial institutions to create accessible services for persons with disabilities.

  • Coordinate observance of disability-related events to raise awareness and promote inclusivity.

  • Develop a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to track progress and assess the impact of project activities.

  • Prepare detailed progress reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Document best practices and lessons learned during project implementation.

  • Share relevant knowledge and resources with community actors through need-based capacity-building initiatives.

  • Manage project budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve project goals.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.

  • Lead/Assist project proposal writing and actively hunt for new funding opportunities to ensure sustainability and scaling of the project.

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that promotes open communication and effective teamwork.

  • Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
