∎ Job Duration: Duration of the appointment is 4 months (December 2022 to March 2023)
∎ Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB), a non-govt. non-political and non-profit voluntary consumer organization, was founded in 1978. Primarily started as a social group to protect consumers from commodity adulteration and artificial price-hike it has gradually widened its scope to establish and safeguard consumers` rights and interests in social, economic, health and environmental issues.
∎ Currently CAB has undertaken a survey on climate and development issues in the country.
∎ CAB invites applications from the qualified candidates for the following position:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage & oversee the performance of the field investigator.
∎ Review and maintains survey records, worksheets and relevant documents.
∎ Conduct focus group discussion and Key Informant Interview (KII) in consultation with the consultant.
∎ Supervise the Field Investigators for field data collection, evidence collection and to support the consultant on climate issues.
∎ Any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of work experience in this sector. .
∎ Good command of English language (spoken and written).
∎ Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
∎ Visit survey study areas.
∎ Communication skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
∎ Willing to use local transport.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office and Internet.
Salary: Negotiable
