Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in any discipline but BSc/Diploma in Engineering (Civil) is preferable.

Job Context:
∎ Location: Sylhet with frequent visit in different districts.
∎ Duration: 8 months (Renewable)
∎ Start Date: Immediately

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to oversee the activities of project team member at the field level.
∎ Represent the project in any relevant field based thematic meetings with stakeholders and otherwise as needed and also responsible for ensuring that the work of the team is compliant with donors reporting and accountability policy and procedures.
∎ Conduct Group discussions at the community level to identify the need for appropriate WASH Hardware and inclusion.
∎ Assist to make WASH Committee and conduct Inception Meeting before launching the program.
∎ Assist in the design of WASH hardware and preparing of site list according to community participation.
∎ Assist to make construction work plan according to the project ending timeline with the management.
∎ Daily basis construction work supervision, monitoring, and giving suggestions to the worker after consulting WASH program personnel. Control materials quality with the entire work quality.
∎ Assist to the technical person for assessment of the suitable sites selection for hardware interventions.
∎ Use participatory approaches as far as possible throughout the programme cycle, in training, and in the use of toolkits and other materials.
∎ Innovate new ideas among WASH activity to meet the need of beneficiary.
∎ Communicate daily basis to the worker and vendors according to field findings.
∎ Supervise and be responsible for all the technical aspect for project implementation, make sure that contractors complete project work in a timely, efficient and accurate manner with respect to standard engineering.
∎ Ensure community involvement at all phases of the project and the development of community ownership of the project.
∎ Maintain water quality by water quality checking and give direction to the water distributors.
∎ Maintain contact, liaison, network and coordination with the actors of the Public and Private sector for exchange ideas/ views, good practices and learnings
∎ Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of project reports and collection of case story and success report.
∎ Organizing tube well maintenance and repairing tanning and wash kit distribution.
∎ Assist to make Purchase requirement to the management to ensure availability of service.
∎ Assist and guide the volunteers for smooth functioning of the project.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar job in any reputed organization. Experience in working on WASH Program in emergency programs is strongly preferred.
∎ Knowledge of ICT particularly on MS Excel, MS Word (both Bangla & English), PowerPoint, etc., is essential.
∎ Should be fluent in communication both in writing and speaking in the English language.
∎ Must have basic knowledge of photography.
