Job Context:

Established in 1992, SOLIDARITY has built a strong foundation of trust and collaboration with local administrations, national and international development partners, and local civil society actors. With 32 years of uninterrupted engagement in Kurigram District, the organization is widely recognized across the Rangpur Division and respected nationally for its commitment to inclusive development. Guided by a mission to serve poor and underprivileged communities, SOLIDARITY remains dedicated to promoting meaningful and sustainable change.

In response to the adverse impacts of climate-induced hazards and displacement on the mental health and psychosocial well-being of young people, Terre des Hommes-Foundation (Tdh) launched the project titled “Sport for Protection, Resilience, and Transformation (SPiRIT)” Phase II in early 2025. This initiative aims to empower internally displaced youth through sport-based interventions that promote resilience and community Empowerment.

In partnership with Tdh, SOLIDARITY is implementing the SPiRIT project to support climate-vulnerable and internally displaced youth living in the char areas of Kurigram District. To strengthen field-level implementation, SOLIDARITY is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Field Officer. Based at the upazila level, the Field Officer will be responsible for coordinating project activities in assigned unions, supervising Community Facilitators, engaging with local institutions, and ensuring quality monitoring, reporting, and youth participation through sports-based programming.

This is a project-based position with a maximum duration of 33 months, commencing in May 2026. Only female candidates are encouraged to apply, with a strong preference for experienced female candidates. Persons with disabilities (PWD) are also encouraged to apply.
