Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess the needs and resources required for donor & NGOF hygiene promotion activities, plan an appropriate integrated response.
∎ Plan, design and manage the implementation of hygiene promotion measures to address priority public health risks according to the agreed plan, and complimentary to physical sanitation measures, to meet the needs in excreta disposal, wastewater.
∎ Mobilize communities, where appropriate, to participate fully in this program.
∎ Supervising the repairing works, dislodging, cleaning works by volunteers and reporting the progress of work.
∎ Monitoring the WASH Facilities status, reporting and making the plan of actions.
∎ Organizing, monitoring and reporting of Hygiene Promotion Session by Volunteers.
∎ Develop/adapt hygiene promotion materials for use during an emergency operation for different target groups.
∎ Use participatory approaches as a far as possible throughout the program cycle, in training, and in the use of tool kits and other materials.
∎ Monitor the impact of hygiene promotion activities and provide regular, timely and accurate narrative, statistical and financial information for inclusion in different types of reports.
∎ Ensure that hygiene promotion activities are in line with SPHERE standards and other relevant policies and guidelines related to humanitarian assistance.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
∎ Follow and maintain the disciplines properly as mentioned in the Service Rules of NGO Forum.
∎ Work in true-spirit of teamwork and preserve personal integrity and respecting the organizational hierarchy of accountability.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to speak English and Cox's Bazar local language (written/verbal)
∎ Should have knowledge on WatSan, Public Health, Community mobilization, PRA tools and techniques.
∎ Experience in community mobilization and WaSH related activities implementation at field level, willing ness to work with Low Income Community People and Rohingya Refugee communities.
∎ Should have knowledge on humanitarian principals and attitude to work in disaster areas with/without family as and when required.
∎ Positive attitude as development activities, team spirit and accommodative within team and community level.
∎ Basic orientation on WaSH for refugee camp
∎ WaSH experiences on refugee context
∎ Good communication skill
∎ Working knowledge with Govt. officials

Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
