Job Context:
∎ Samaj Kalyan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. Since the 2017 Rohingya refugee influx, SKUS has worked in Cox`s Bazar district with children adolescents, women, and men. SKUS works to provide access to learning opportunities in a safe and protective environment, offer quality teaching/learning and increase refugee/host community participation and engagement in children`s education. Based on children`s and adolescents` rights, SKUS has established a quality learning and protection Centre with support from different international donors, including UN agencies.
∎ SKUS is going to implement the Pooled Funded Education project "Provision of inclusive education for Rohingya Children aged 3-14 years in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh" for the Rohingya at Ukhiya Upazila in Cox`s Bazar District with the technical support of BRAC.
∎ SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of Field Officer for the project as mentioned above in the BRAC Pooled Fund, supported by GAC.
∎ Reportable to: Project Coordinator.
∎ Duration of contract: 31 August 2024. (Contingent to Donor Extension and Govt. Approval)
∎ Job Location: Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support and supervise the facilitator, SO, CEM, and Rohingya mentor to continue the CBLF modality facilities in the Rohingya camp.
∎ Support education needs assessment as needed in intervention target areas.
∎ Home visits on a regular basis to supervise and monitor ECD and MC and learning-related activities.
∎ Conduct training/refresher/workshop in a small group.
∎ Track the progress of education activities and provide regular updates to the supervisor.
∎ Distributed education and other materials on time.
∎ Prepare event reports and documentation; Participate in many kinds of meetings, sessions and
∎ Regular Communication with Majhi, Sub Majhi, CiC, Parents, and other Actors.
∎ Provide Technical Support to ECD & MC Teachers and Program Organizer.
∎ Assist to Local materials development, Case study & and success story provide to supervisor. Monthly Report provide like as Center monitoring Report, Community monitoring and other educational report, & ONA report etc.
∎ Assist to center decoration & Support monthly LC, CMC, and meeting as well as parenting sessions.
∎ Motivation and awareness sessions, establish a feedback mechanism system, & and ensure safeguarding policy in the relevant intervention.
