∎ M.A in any subject from any Government recognized University (Degree not less than 2nd class)

∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Concerned Women for Family Development (CWFD) is non-government and voluntary organization registered with Social Welfare (1975) and NGO affairs Bureau (1980) is offering a few job opportunities to work in a (3) three years project named Global Program to End Child Marriage funded by UNFPA. As per the requirements of the project capable males and females of Bangladesh of following criterion can apply:
∎ CWFD and UNFPA do not allow any perpetrator on child abuse.
∎ Work station: Dhaka, Chattagram, Jamalpur and Bogora
∎ Job duration: January 2021 to December 2023
∎ Line of responsibility: The Field Manager is directly reportable to the Project Manager.
∎ Experienced and expert Female candidates will be given preference
∎ CWFD and UNFPA is `Committed to the wellbeing of children and, we do not tolerate child abuse`

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise the Field Facilitator and monitor their performance.
∎ Take initiative to build capacity of the Field Facilitator and Field Mobilizer.
∎ Conduct Advocacy meetings, sensitization meetings, advocacy dialogue with GOB functionaries, elected leaders and Community leaders.
∎ Maintain liaison with Child marriage prevention Committees and arrange regular meeting with the Committees.
∎ Re-activate the "Kishori Club" and necessary program activities with the clubs.
∎ Conduct meeting with the school management committees and discuss options to minimize the drop out of girls.
∎ Create the resource and information centers for youth.
∎ Assist Project Manager to prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
∎ Keep books of accounts in a small scale and maintain liaison with the Accounts Officer.
∎ Prepare annual confidential reports of the Field Facilitators.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the CWFD, UNFPA

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 05 years' experience in working urban/ rural field area to manage project activities.
∎ Practice positive attitude to remove the root causes for child marriage.
∎ Skills needed to organize and conduct gender sensitization meetings with the stakeholders and advocate them in favor of preventing child marriage.
∎ Maintain Liaison with the existing child marriage prevention committees and conduct regular meeting.
∎ Organize youth groups (Boys & girls) to influence to practice their life skills.
∎ Re-activate the existing "Kishori Cubs" of the project areas.
∎ Assist the Project Manager to prepare program reports.
∎ Knowledge of Microsoft Word, MS Excel and Power Point

Salary:
∎ BDT 60,000/- per month (Including all other benefits)
