∎ Minimum 3 years experiences of working in relevant position at local and national NGOs.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct Community/Urban Risk assessment at ward level/Union level/Pouroshava level and follow up the action plan implement by the designated authority.
∎ Conduct PRA at community level & develop Village Risk Assessment Plan and implement the plan as per community need.
∎ Select targeted population and formation of groups & CBO as per the project and organizational guideline.
∎ Conduct Group/CBO meeting as regular basis and establish linkage with UDMC, Union Parishad and Upazila Parishad to get better services.
∎ Assist to arrange events on DRM/DRR/CCA planning and its successful implementation.
∎ Assist to Union parishad for budget preparation and increased finance/improve spending for DRR/CCA activities at community level.
∎ Conduct study on Climate Resilience Measurement for Communities (CRMC) /Post Event Review Capability (PERC) or any other project related studies and implement the activities based on the studies.
∎ Formation/reformation of UDMC/ UzDMC and engage the community people (women/youth) in that committee and make it regularly functional.
∎ Assist to conduct training for Local Resilience Agents (youth volunteers)/task force groups on DRR & CCA, early warning, rescue, evacuation, and response skills.
∎ Maintain effective liaison with the local representatives of private sectors, local extension officials, Union Parishad, and community leaders to ensure their supports in project implementation.
∎ Implement field demonstration as per project plan.
∎ Assist to organize training, meeting, workshop, and other project events with guidance from the supervisors.
∎ Collect information from the community/household level to develop and disseminate advisory services and orient the community people to use of advisory services.
∎ Advocacy/coordination/networking/collaboration meeting with municipality, city corporation, union/sub-district level line department.
∎ Ensure participation and contributions of communities of the catchment areas, relevant government departments, Union Parishad, and other stakeholders.

∎ With funding from Zurich Foundation and technical and thematic support from Practical Action, Uttaran is going to implement a project titled “Zurich Climate Resilience Programme (ZCRP)” in Faridpur, Khulna and Satkhira District.
