Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning:
∎ Making weekly/monthly project implementation plan and submit it to the Project Coordinator or similar personnel assigned by the organization, in light of the overall project plan
∎ Ensuring the implementation of project activities as planned.
∎ Implementation of Programme:
∎ Baseline survey for beneficiary selection of the project, preparing list and preserving necessary documents and data;
∎ Community group formation and coordination;
∎ Arranging activities in the community level as deemed necessary, including various forms of consultations and meetings.
∎ Organizing meetings with local government/members of Union Parishad and other relevant local stakeholders;
∎ Facilitating different kinds of awareness session;
∎ Collecting data to facilitate internal monitoring regularly
∎ Follow up of community based activities of the project
∎ Extending support to the project coordinator for implementing project activities;
∎ Communication:
∎ Maintaining communication all time with upper line supervisor;
∎ Maintaining necessary communication with local administration of project area, local government, civil society, concerns all government and non-government organization and community people;
∎ Maintaining necessary communication with different CBO and stockholders;
∎ Grassroots advocacy and local communications activities
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 05 years relevant experience in reputed NGO,
∎ Good communication skills.
Salary: Tk. 30000 - 35000 (Monthly)

Presently Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) has been working in Gaibandha, Rangpur, Nilphamari, Kurigram, Dinajpur, Bogra, Joypurhat, Kushtia, Panchagarh and Lalmonirhat districts. The organization has gained well reputation and achieved notable changes in development, particularly in the area of Livelihood Improvement, Education for Children, Gender Equality, Women Empowerment, Human Rights and Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate change through various development projects. Over the period of time, altogether approximately 45,000 families came out from extreme poverty situation through financial and technical support of GUK. Besides, approximately 120,000 families are directly involved at present in different interventions of the organization.
