• Conduct essential assessment in field level.

Knowledge

• Understanding of disaster risk reduction (DRR) principles and practices.
• Familiarity with livelihoods restoration strategies and community development frameworks.
• Knowledge of hydro meteorological hazards and their impact on communities.
• Awareness of climate-adaptive practices and sustainable livelihoods.
• Familiarity with early warning systems and forecasting methodologies.

Skills

• Having/Handling smart phones and also have experience to handle the survey tools in it.
• Good communication, facilitation and motivational skills.

Job Context:

The Field Facilitator will implement Online household survey. Total beneficiary target of the project is 40,000 from the 5 Upazilas of Sylhet and Habigonj District after proper verification and validation in the project. The project will follow WFP’s Integrated Risk Management (IRM) approach. Anticipatory action is an effective way to support vulnerable communities before a hazard strikes, by using forecasts and early warning systems to trigger pre-agreed actions and funding. Project Duration- February 2025 to March 2025 (For 02 months).

Job Responsibilities:

• The Field Facilitator will be responsible for implementing Online household survey to field level.

• They will verify the existing list of the beneficiaries to the existing field areas through online platform.

• They will ensure effective communication to the multiple stakeholders of working area, UPC, MEAL officer.

MAJOR CHALLENGES:

• Community engagement can be challenging, as building trust with vulnerable households often requires overcoming historical distrust and varying literacy levels.

• Limited technical resources can delay the implementation of training programs

• Cash grant distribution.

• Unpredictable weather patterns and natural disasters may disrupt planned activities, complicating livelihood restoration efforts.

• Coordination among multiple stakeholders can be complex.

• Mobile bill,T/A

• Other admissible benefits (Mobile allowance, etc.) as per the project`s budget.

• Salary and other admissible benefits (if any) are inclusive of all taxes as imposed by the government of Bangladesh. Taxes will be deducted at sources as per government rules.
