Responsibilities & Context: Ensure paste making and block/screen print process according to approved samples and maintain product quality. Prepare screen frames, ensure proper chemical mixing, and supervise the screen and block printing process with accuracy and standard compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Receive color and chemical materials from logistics, checking for stability and density.
- Receive blocks according to approved design and size.
- Maintain stock of color and other chemicals in an organized manner.
- Mix colors and chemicals based on approved swatch samples.
- Solve color-related issues during production.
- Inspect product quality throughout the production process.
- Maintain records of color measurement, costing, and daily usage in control forms.
- Train new workers on block and screen-printing techniques.
- Develop screen frames in the darkroom as per job order/design, ensuring quality.
- Coordinate closely with designers to meet design expectations.
- Collect and manage production materials related to block and screen print.
- Mix colors for both block and screen printing.
- Safely preserve screen frames and printing tools.
- Ensure the safety of team members from harm, abuse, or exploitation in line with safeguarding practices.
- Promote and practice safeguarding policies in every course of action.
- Encourage safeguarding reporting and respond according to procedure.
- Visit community’s door to door to collect artisans as per target.
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
