The candidate must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with a thorough understanding of service standards, guest relations, and outlet operations.
A Diploma or Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or equivalent qualification is preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory control, and HACCP standards is essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage a diverse team, handle high-pressure situations with professionalism, and maintain a hands-on approach to service and team management.

The F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, lounge, or banquet area to ensure smooth service, exceptional guest experiences, and adherence to the hotel’s service and quality standards. This role bridges the gap between management and the service team, providing leadership, training, and operational guidance. The F&B Supervisor monitors staff performance, manages guest relations, ensures compliance with hygiene and safety standards, and supports the outlet manager in achieving revenue and service goals. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager or Outlet Manager, the F&B Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professionalism within the Food & Beverage department.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE F&B SUPERVISOR
Supervise, coordinate, and support the daily operations of the assigned F&B outlet to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Lead, motivate, and train service staff to meet and exceed hotel standards in all guest interactions.
Ensure the outlet is properly set up before each service period, including cleanliness, table settings, mise-en-place, and staff readiness.
Greet and interact with guests, ensuring satisfaction through attentive service and prompt resolution of any complaints or special requests.
Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to communicate menu changes, special promotions, service assignments, and operational updates.
Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to coordinate food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor guest flow, table turnovers, and seating efficiency to optimize operations during busy periods.
Maintain strict compliance with hotel policies, service procedures, grooming standards, and HACCP food safety regulations.
Assist in controlling costs by monitoring inventory, breakages, and wastage, and supporting stock management procedures.
Oversee billing, cash handling, and POS transactions, ensuring all financial processes are handled accurately and securely.
Train and mentor captains, waiters, and trainees in service techniques, guest handling, and product knowledge.
Inspect all service areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and readiness for service.
Support the Outlet Manager in planning and executing special events, banquets, and promotional activities.
Prepare and submit operational reports, checklists, and requisitions as required by management.
Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing hygiene and safety protocols and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
