Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have Graduate in any discipline with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations. (BSc/MS in Agriculture will preferable)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare annual plan, yearly budget and keep all the expenses within the approved budget limit.
∎ Assist team for target wise select the suitable land/ framer and supervise the 105-135 acres of land in a year
∎ Conduct farmer’s training and randomly checked 10% plots/farmers in a visiting day; Provide technical support for seed crop management and also check technical register
∎ Ensure roughing and seed quality like moisture content, germination, appearance etc. before procurement
∎ Manage labor and handle any kind of local problem
∎ Staff development through counseling, meeting, training, coaching and ensure accountability of the staff and yearly assessment
∎ Share the field information with supervisor; communicate with local stake holders like- local elite, GOs and NGOs
∎ Analyse profit/loss and share the report with management; keep update all official documents
∎ Prepare report as per the requirement and share with management; Keep record of different data and ensure the security of all BRAC’s assets
∎ Check all the bills and vouchers and financial activity reports of production and submit to management for approval
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other jobs delegated by the supervisor(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Knowledge on the modern technology of different varieties of vegetable seed production; prepare the budget; plan the program; design and manage the physiology of horticultural crop
∎ Excellent in work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment
∎ Must have Communication, analytical ability, problem solving and report writing skill
∎ Must have using capabilities of MS Office
∎ Able to work under stress situation
