Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have Bachelor of Science/ Master of Science in Agriculture (Agronomy / Soil Science / Agricultural Extension / Entomology / Plant Pathology / Seed Technology / Genetics & Pant Breeding) from any government approved institute with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations.
Experience Requirements:

Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create a thorough action plan for implementing Inbred Rice Seed Production activities and prepare a yearly budget in accordance with established targets.
∎ Execute seed production activities and provide technical and logistic support to concern people as per need
∎ Evaluate and monitor ongoing activities for the seed production
∎ Ensure all inputs for implementation of seed production activities and proper use and maintenance of all kinds of materials and resources
∎ Develop staff through meeting, training, coaching and ensure accountability of staffs
∎ Maintain seed quality with genetic purity (at least 98%) through conducting rouging, isolation and post-harvest activities
∎ Keep conversion loss at expected level in raw seed procurement and process loss maximum 3% at SPC level of produced / procured seeds at different seasons
∎ Ensure reporting to SCA for seed certification in order to purchase / procure of targeted seed
∎ Update all types of official documents, report to the legal authority and keep record accordingly
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ Age, Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential Candidates.
∎ Experience in relevant field will be given preference
∎ Have practical knowledge on production planning, production process, Pest and Cost control, Policy formulation, Inputs need assessment and People Management.
∎ Basic knowledge in planning and execution of research works as well as product evaluation activities.
∎ Solution driven, smart, approachable and possesses ability to work with people from different backgrounds
∎ Must have skill of multitasking
∎ Able to work under stress situation
∎ Able to manage any unwanted situation
