Position Summary
The Facility In-Charge (MBBS) will oversee medical services and the health facility operations in the Rohingya Refugee Camp. The role includes supervising the medical team, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining medical records, coordinating with partners, and supporting public health interventions.
Location: Nayapara Registered Camp, Cox’s Bazar
Salary: BDT 95,000 (Gross)
Contract Duration: 2 months (Extension subject to fund availability)
Reporting To: Programme and Area Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide quality primary healthcare services following national treatment protocols and clinical guidelines.
• Diagnose illnesses, prescribe appropriate medications, and refer complicated or emergency cases to higher-level facilities.
• Ensure proper clinical management, infection prevention, and patient safety within the facility.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records, registers, and reports as per organizational and donor requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate with the health team to ensure effective service delivery.
• Support public health activities including health education, disease prevention and outbreak response.
• Liaise and coordinate with UNHCR, IOM, Red Crescent/Red Cross, government health authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with government health policies, organizational standards, and humanitarian principles.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with the role.
