∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Strong technical knowledge of fabric construction and types of knitting techniques.
∎ Strong technical knowledge and Quality Assurance processes for AOP, Dyeing, Fabric Finishing.
∎ Technical knowledge and Quality Assurance processes for Front Prints.
∎ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication.
∎ skills: Ability to analyze seasonal data, Ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Align with Product Development Manager in sourcing and developing fabrics to meet design vision, merchandising requirements and corporate goals.
∎ Maintain databank on yarn development, fabrics development and its technical recipe/sheets.
∎ Maintain and update fabric library and build fabric archives.
∎ Build and maintain seasonal binders for complete fabric records for classifications.
∎ Communicate effectively and consistently with all key cross functional partners on fabric development and related issues.
∎ Promote innovation / attend fabric shows and take mill appointments on research and present fabric trends to cross-functional team.
∎ Build seasonal concept packages for categories.
∎ Work with manager to troubleshoot and resolve development and bulk issues.
∎ Be an expert for your categories and be fully prepared for all meetings.
∎ Proactively manage sample yardage ready dates and troubleshoot as necessary.
∎ Keep a record of machinery, production capacities of yarn and fabric mills.
