Skills Required: Garment Technology,Good English communication skills (verbal and Written),Knitting and Dyeing
Additional Requirements:
- Age At least 26 years
- Experience of knitting, dyeing, printing and all fabric production stages would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context:
Research new types of fabric and textile materials.
Manage quality and hanger collections from Mills and sharing with Fabric and merchant team
Ensuring materials meet the testing and quality requirements.
Working with mills to develop fabric and follow up developments throughout each development cycle
Applying engineering and technical principles and set parameters to meet product requirements
Reviewing and approving developed samples and following up approvals with the buyer
Creating detailed documentation and technical specifications for new fabric developments.
Ensuring all fabric developments meet industry standards and regulations.
Coordinating with mills to give guidelines and set standards for bulk fabric production.
