Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Publish and disseminate communication materials such as brochures, reports, flyers, newsletters, and digital content.
∎ Manage and update content for social media platforms and the official website.
∎ Draft news articles, press releases, case stories, event reports, and other communication outputs.
∎ Create visual and written content for presentations, campaigns, and advocacy initiatives.
∎ Develop new communication materials under the guidance of the ERC team.
∎ Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as assigned.
∎ Participate in meetings, seminars, and webinars organized by Islamic Relief Bangladesh and its partners, and support documentation.
∎ Collect and analyse data for communications, documentation, and reporting.
∎ Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visibility across all communication channels.
∎ Conduct frequent field visits to gather content (stories, photos, videos) and support communication activities.
∎ Support project implementation with a focus on documentation and visibility.
∎ Perform any other tasks delegated by the Country Management Team (CMT) or ERC team.
∎ Design and layout communication products such as reports, factsheets, brochures, banners, and digital media.

∎ The role involves leading and supporting external communication, documentation, and advocacy efforts to enhance the visibility and impact of Islamic Relief Bangladesh’s work. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and managing content across digital and print platforms, ensuring consistent branding, and maintaining strong relationships with media, government, and civil society partners. This position requires active engagement in the field for content gathering, as well as close coordination with internal teams to produce high-quality communication materials and documentation. A significant focus will be placed on visual design and storytelling, aligning with organizational goals and donor requirements.
