Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications to fill the position of Extension Officer (SRFSI) for urgent employment for Sustainable and Resilient Farming Systems Intensification
∎ in the Eastern Gangetic Plains (SRFSI) project which will be based in Rangpur to perform the activities across the working area. Interested and qualified candidates are requested to apply for the position.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and implementation of activities under SRFSI Project.
∎ Time to time data collection, conduct survey, KII and FGD with different stakeholders of SRFSI project following protocol.
∎ Assist to data cleaning, validating, analyzing, compiling and reporting of qualitative and quantitative research work.
∎ Conduct evaluation based field level activities and assist to develop research tools and technique for studies.
∎ Assist in organizing study sharing seminars, workshop and advocacy events.
∎ Assist in the maintenance of research database and documents.
∎ Orient enumerators on research methods, protocol activities and questionnaire/ checklists.
∎ Maintain research ethics and quality control of data
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience should be relevant
∎ Liaison capacity with different stakeholders.
∎ Excellent computer skills (MS word, Excel, Access and Power Point).
∎ Good interpersonal communication skill and command over English and Bangla both in spoken and written.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary will be negotiated depending on the competency of candidates and as per project budget.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Each festival bonus is equivalent to 50% of monthly consolidated salary.
∎ Festival bonus will be paid after closing probaitonary period
