Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard time for all operations and update them periodically.
∎ Prepare and analyze capacity studies, line layouts, and machine layouts to ensure optimal resource utilization.
∎ Develop and implement method improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
∎ Monitor daily line efficiency and provide feedback to production and planning teams.
∎ Assist in production planning and line balancing based on order requirements and line capacity.
∎ Work closely with production, quality, and planning departments to ensure smooth workflow and achieve production targets.
∎ Maintain and analyze production data, prepare IE-related MIS reports, and present insights to management.
∎ Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and SMV improvements.
∎ Identify bottlenecks and take necessary initiatives for process re-engineering.
∎ Train line operators and supervisors on new methods and techniques to improve operational efficiency.
∎ Bengal Hurricane Group, a leading name in the knit-based garment industry, is seeking a dedicated and result-driven Industrial Engineering (IE) Executive/Sr. Executive to join our dynamic team. The incumbent will play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor. The role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
