Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Master's in Accounting/Finance from a reputed public/private university with a good academic record
∎ Candidates having third class/ division/ equivalent GPA in any academic examination need not to apply
∎ CA (CC) is mandatory.
Job Context:
∎ A Leading Financial Institution engaged in capital market is looking for 2 (Two) competent, energetic, dynamic and talented Bangladeshi citizens with requisite qualifications.
∎ The primary responsibility shall be financial reporting and related function like record keeping, reconciliation of both clients` accounts and bank accounts etc., management of taxation and vat of the company, fund management and strategic planning.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage all financial functions including accounting, book-keeping, reconciliation, tax & vat related matters, liquidity/cash management and strategic planning & investment.
∎ Preparing financial statements and reports; accumulate and analyze accounting and statistical data for preparation of reports/statements as per requirements of the management, board, and regulatory authorities in line with International Accounting Standards (IAS), regulatory framework and industry best practices
∎ Supervising and reviewing financial operations and reporting; formulating and reviewing budget
∎ Tax and VAT compliance and support to submit the return.
∎ Ensure prudent management of cash flows and associated financial risk exposures.
∎ Ensure timely completion and submission of financials and statistical reports for management and regulatory authorities.
∎ Managing company affairs and secretariat of the company including preparation of board memo and minutes
∎ Liaison with external regulator(s) and stakeholder(s) such as Auditors, NBR, BSEC and Bangladesh Bank.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s) working experience in Merchant Banking/Share Brokerage for Manager position
∎ At least 2 year(s) working experience in Merchant Banking/Share Brokerage for Executive position
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Accounting and Finance, Accounts
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Investment/Merchant Banking, Share Brokerage/ Securities House
