• Excellent communication skills both in Bengali and English.

• Proficiency in report writing and presentation.

• Expertise in MS Office Suite, especially in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Experience in working with ERP or SAP will be an added advantage.

• Critical thinking capacity.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, ability to manage time effectively and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Sourcing: Identifying and vetting suppliers, negotiating contracts and purchasing raw materials or services.

2. Shipment Follow up: Managing, scheduling and tracking shipments. Coordinating the physical movement of goods, including shipping, transportation routes, managing relationships with freight carriers.

3. Inventory Monitoring: Balancing stock levels to prevent shortages (stockouts) while minimizing excess inventory that ties up capital. Monitoring stock levels and optimizing storage using data. Overseeing the safe storage, tracking, and organization of products within distribution centers.

4. Planning for goods supply: Responsible for forecasting and aligning supply with sales goals.  Using historical data and market trends to forecast future product needs and ensuring the demand.

5. Risk Management: Planning to manage potential disruptions (e.g., natural disasters, geopolitical issues) and developing contingency plans to keep operations running. 

6. Compliance: Ensuring all processes meet legal, environmental, and safety standards. 

7. Analytical Thinking: Interpreting and analyzing data to find bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities.

Educational Requirement:

A.      Minimum BBA from IBA / University of Dhaka / University of Chittagong / University of Rajshahi / University of Khulna / NSU / BUP / BRAC University / IUB / EWU / AIUB / Any reputed foreign University.

B.      Minimum IT Graduate from NSU / MIST / BRAC University / IUB / AUST / EWU / AIUB / Any reputed foreign University.

C.      Bachelor of Engineering from BUET / KUET / CUET / RUET / MIST / AUST / IUT

CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) / CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) certification will be an added advantage.
