To strengthen the organization's creative team, we are recruiting skilled, creative, and responsible personnel for the position of Executive Officer (Video & Audio Editor).

Vacancies: 7 (Salary range: BDT 36,000 – BDT 44,000, subject to the organization's employment and personnel management policies).

Position: Executive Officer (Video & Audio Editor).

Work Location: 154, North Jatrabari, Shahid Faruk Road, Jatrabari, Dhaka.

Employment Type: Full-time + Overtime (as required).

Salary: BDT 16,000 – BDT 24,000 + {BDT 20,000 (Trainer role – 🌐 rupshafoundation.org)}.

Allowance: BDT 1,500 per month (for using a personal high-configuration laptop/desktop).

Security Deposit: BDT 20,000 (Refundable, subject to the terms of the security deposit agreement).

Qualifications and Conditions:

• Educational Qualification: Minimum HSC pass (Third Division/Grade is not acceptable).

• Preference will be given to candidates with a diploma, bachelor's degree, or extensive experience in the relevant field.

• Must provide a portfolio of previous work or links to past projects.

• Must possess a training certificate in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

• Must demonstrate proficiency in teamwork, communication, meeting deadlines, and time management.

• Individuals who are activists, members, or leaders of any political party, or its associate or affiliated organizations, are not eligible to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining color consistency across all video clips (Color Correction).

• Precisely trimming unwanted footage and maintaining accurate timing.

• Applying a cinematic or professional look to match the video's mood (Color Grading).

• Ability to add text overlays (lower-thirds), intros, outros, and basic animations.

• Removing unwanted background noise, hiss, or echo from audio or voiceovers.

• Balancing sound levels perfectly between background music and voiceover.

• Adding sound effects at appropriate points to enhance realism.

• Controlling video speed and synchronizing visuals, music, and dialogue (including lip-syncing).

• Utilizing AI-assisted editing tools within modern workflows to increase efficiency.

• An eye for detail to detect minor errors or glitches in individual frames.

• Ability to revise work based on feedback and specific requirements.

• Proficiency in completing projects and tasks within set deadlines.

• Handling management, marketing, teaching, accounting, and delivery tasks.

• Performing any other legitimate tasks required by the organization.

Online Exam (Screen-recorded): Two Google Form links (first MCQ, followed by descriptive questions): MCQ (50 marks) + Descriptive (40 marks) + Typing Speed ​​(10 marks) = 100 marks; and Practical Exam (10 topics, 10 marks each = 100 marks; video duration: 1 minute, time limit: 1 hour).

• MCQ (1 mark per question; total time: 15 minutes): Bengali - 10 questions (quotes, spelling, antonyms); English - 20 questions (tenses, negative-affirmative, voice change, narration); Mathematics - 20 questions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry). Descriptive Questions - 4 questions (time: 20 minutes) on topics such as gender opposites, countries, life, and ethics.

• Practical topics: background clip color, sound effects, noise, speed control, cinematic effects, lip-syncing, animation, clip collection, data recharge, and motion graphics.

Smarto Greeny - A social enterprise (profits are allocated to ethical sourcing commissions and social development initiatives, excluding costs related to business expansion, worker welfare, and administration).
