Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote knit and woven fabrics to local and international garment manufacturers, buying houses, and brands.

  • Identify new business opportunities, potential customers, and market segments.

  • Generate inquiries, negotiate prices, and close sales in line with company targets.

  • Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.

2. Customer Handling & Communication

  • Communicate regularly with buyers regarding fabric developments, pricing, lead time, and order status.

  • Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate sampling and bulk production.

  • Handle buyer feedback, complaints, and claims professionally and ensure timely resolution.

3. Fabric Knowledge & Product Development

  • Possess strong knowledge of textile raw materials, knit & woven fabric construction, GSM, composition, finishes, and performance properties.

  • Coordinate with R&D, production, and sourcing teams for new fabric development based on buyer demand and market trends.

  • Assist buyers with technical fabric suggestions suitable for sportswear, casualwear, formalwear, and functional apparel.

4. Marketing & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market research to analyze competitor products, pricing, and trends in the textile and apparel industry.

  • Support branding and marketing initiatives, including product presentations, catalogs, email marketing, and digital promotions.

  • Represent the company in buyer meetings, exhibitions, factory visits, and trade fairs when required.

5. Order Management & Coordination

  • Follow up on order execution from sampling to bulk production and shipment.

  • Coordinate with planning, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.

  • Track order progress and keep buyers updated with accurate information.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular sales reports, customer visit reports, and market feedback summaries for management.

  • Maintain proper documentation of customer data, inquiries, quotations, and order histories.

7. Compliance & Professional Conduct

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and buyer compliance requirements.

  • Maintain professional communication and represent the company image positively at all times.
