• Knowledge of Jacquard and Shima Seiki machine operations and programming.

• Familiarity with knitting patterns, fabric types, and machine settings.

• Strong understanding of production planning and control techniques.

• Proficiency in software used for industrial knitting machines (e.g., Shima Seiki SDS-ONE APEX).

• Analytical thinking for process improvement.

• Communication and coordination skills.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution:

• Develop production plans to meet delivery schedules.

• Monitor daily production and ensure alignment with targets.

• Optimize machine schedules to minimize downtime.

Machine Setup & Maintenance:

• Oversee the setup, programming, and operation of Jacquard and Shima Seiki machines.

• Coordinate regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Industrial Engineering Tasks:

• Conduct time and motion studies to enhance productivity.

• Implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.

• Analyze workflow and production layout for optimization.

Quality Assurance:

• Monitor fabric quality during production and ensure compliance with standards.

• Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Track machine performance, efficiency, and output data.

• Prepare reports on production, downtime, and efficiency.

Team Coordination:

• Work closely with the production team, supervisors, and maintenance staff.

Train operators on machine operation and safety protocols.
