Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA/MBA, majoring in Finance & Accounting from a reputed national/foreign university, with a good academic background.
∎ CA-CC(Professional level)/ ACCA
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Maintain and perform day to day asset capitalization of company`s fixed asset. Register in `RAPID`, fixed asset module and ensure proper fixed asset accounting and reporting.
∎ Monitor capitalization process flow, ensure provisioning and posting accurate depreciation charge.
∎ Ensure proper asset transfer for optimum utilization of fixed asset.
∎ Assist in preparing reports related to fixed asset & Coordinate with external and internal auditor.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform day to day capitalization from Assets under construction (AUC) & Inventory based GL
∎ Perform timely capitalization and monthly depreciation calculation of individual asset level
∎ Monitor long aged AUC and Inventory GL and recon with aging report
∎ Timely monitoring and control site to site asset transfer in RAPID
∎ Update site catalogue
∎ Notify users' department for doing GR & GI, considering age bucket
∎ Regularly monitor and capitalize custom duty, insurance and C&F cost
∎ Prepare yearly fixed asset verification plan and monitor the progress on a monthly basis
∎ Conduct physical verification and tagging of newly added assets
∎ Generate monthly asset physical verification report with recommendation
∎ Assist in preparing monthly reports such as Fixed Asset Schedules, CWIP Aging & Asset Addition
∎ Coordinate with Supply Chain personnel for the asset auction process
∎ Attend major auction sale process (Asset Disposal) & completion on time
∎ Monthly depreciation run posting and ensure depreciation properly reflected in general ledger
∎ Supervise monthly inventory verification and counting at warehouse
Additional Requirements:
∎ Adequate knowledge in financial accounting and financial management
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Advanced MS excel, MS Power Point is mandatory).
