Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or any relevant field. A postgraduate degree/diploma in EHS or Compliance will be an advantage.
∎ In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance frameworks.
∎ Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures in line with legal and company standards.
∎ Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor the compliance of EHS standards and safety regulations across manufacturing operations.
∎ Ensure that the company complies with local labor laws, international standards, and buyer-specific requirements.
∎ Identify risks and hazards in the workplace, providing effective solutions for risk mitigation
∎ Ensure compliance with local and international safety, environmental, and labor laws, including OSHA, ISO standards, and other regulatory requirements.
∎ Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation, ensuring deadlines are met.
∎ Stay updated on changing regulations, and proactively communicate relevant changes to the management team.
∎ Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and provide regular reports on EHS performance to senior management.
∎ Ensure compliance with environmental laws and promote practices that reduce the company’s environmental footprint.
