Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Register new patients on the computer system. Responsible to enter all the details of the patient.
∎ Register the OPD appointments; make admissions in the hospital software.
∎ Receive visitors or patients, ascertain their needs and direct them accordingly.
∎ To do indoor admission and to make the case paper.
∎ To meet and greet patients and visitors to the practice in a friendly and courteous manner.
∎ Arranging stretcher, wheelchair or ambulance for the patient as and when required.
∎ Check all things in the OPD are in proper place.
∎ Guide the patient to payment counter.
∎ If doctor is not coming or coming late, to inform other departments of the same.
∎ Keeps record of calls placed.
∎ Maintaining various registers and files in department and those required for key quality indicators.
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team.
