Job Context:
∎ A UK (United Kingdom) based technology company that builds intelligent solutions enabling data-driven businesses to digitally transform themselves through Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Mobility and Advanced Analytics.
∎ The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through online chat channels. This role involves engaging with potential customers through chat platforms, understanding their needs, providing product information, and converting leads into sales. The Business Development Executive (BDE) will also collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement chat-based marketing strategies, increase customer engagement, and support overall business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Engage with potential customers via online chat platforms and provide prompt and accurate responses to their inquiries.
∎ Understand customer needs and recommend products or services that meet their requirements.
∎ Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing information to potential customers.
∎ Convert chat interactions into sales by leveraging persuasive techniques and building customer trust.
∎ Maintain a high level of product knowledge to address customer questions and concerns effectively.
∎ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop chat-based marketing strategies and campaigns to drive customer engagement and generate leads.
∎ Assist in the development and implementation of proactive chat scripts, templates, and FAQs to enhance chat interactions.
∎ Monitor and analyse chat performance metrics, such as conversion rates, response times, and customer satisfaction, and propose improvements to enhance sales effectiveness.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide insights and recommendations for chat sales and marketing strategies.
∎ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of chat interactions, customer details, and sales opportunities in CRM software or other relevant systems.
∎ Continuously improve personal chat skills through training, self-learning, and staying updated with industry best practices.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years

∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and provide clear and concise information.
∎ Proven experience in sales, customer service, or online chat support, preferably in a marketing or e-commerce environment.
∎ Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to convert leads into sales.
∎ Ability to multitask and handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer service.
∎ Proficient in using chat platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and other relevant tools.
∎ Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze chat performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
∎ Customer-focused attitude and strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing customer needs and market trends.
∎ Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
