Responsibilities & Context:

A Banking & Incentive (or Cash Incentive/Commercial) role primarily focuses on managing the end-to-end process of securing government subsidies, incentives, or rebates for export-oriented companies (commonly in garments, textiles, or IT/ITES sectors). This role acts as the liaison between the company, commercial banks, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely receipt of incentives, requiring specialized knowledge of import/export formalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incentive Claim Management: Prepare, review, and submit incentive claim documents ("Kha/Gha" forms), cost breakdowns, and master files to banks and regulatory authorities.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of export proceeds realization, back-to-back L/Cs, shipping documents, and ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank, BGMEA/BKMEA, and BTMA rules.

  • Bank & Authority Liaison: Coordinate with commercial banks, auditors, and industry associations (BGMEA, BTMA) for timely audit and approval of incentive files.

  • Calculations & Reporting: Accurately calculate cash incentives based on export invoices and verify PRC (Proceed Realization Certificate) and bank certificates.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and maximize potential incentive opportunities to minimize delays in incentive realization.
