Experience:

• Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting
• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CA-CC, ACCA (part-qualified), or ICMA will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 04 years of working experience in audit department, preferably in a group of companies or manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience in audit execution, internal control review and statutory compliance.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of audit principles, internal controls and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Accounting software.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and audit report writing skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work anywhere in Bangladesh as per requirements.

Position Purpose

To support the Group Audit function by carrying out financial, operational and compliance audits across Jamuna Group. The role ensures adherence to company policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements and assists in strengthening governance, risk management and operational efficiency throughout the Group.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct audits at different Jamuna Group concerns, factories and offices as per approved audit plans.
• Examine financial records, vouchers, invoices, contracts and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and evaluate internal control systems, SOPs and risk management practices across group operations.
• Audit procurement, inventory, store, production, sales, payroll and fixed asset processes at group entities.
• Verify compliance with company policies, delegation of authority, VAT, TAX and applicable Bangladesh laws.
• Assist in stock verification, cash counts and fixed asset verification.
• Prepare audit working papers, observations and draft audit reports highlighting risks and recommendations.
• Follow up on audit findings and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Stores and Operations teams to resolve audit issues.
• Maintain and ensure ethical standards in audit execution.
