Education:
∎ M. Com/MBA or Equivalent (Major in Accounting/Finance /Management).
∎ CA (CC)/ICMAB partly qualified are preferable.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years working experience in a related job in the Finance and Accounts Department.
∎ Work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
∎ Advanced competency in accounting and business management software.
∎ In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards and industry regulations.
∎ Extensive experience in account reconciliation.
∎ Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
∎ Computer knowledge of MS offices.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling the books of ledger of vendors.
∎ Handling accounts payable for separate entities of the Group and Vendors.
∎ Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
∎ Complying with the VAT and Tax as per Govt. rules & regulations.
∎ Comparing the supporting documents as per purchase orders and checking the prices, advance payment as per terms of payment and other charges.
∎ Collaborate work with the Supply Chain Department to reduce the vendors’ advances.
