Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: To manage, and ensure that the project management best practices, standards and processes are being followed as set by the PMU, Project Management life cycle are being followed into the entire projects until it`s delivered. The project manager also need to be committed to ensure that, the project/s are on Schedule and Budget.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
∎ Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
∎ Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
∎ Ensure resource availability and allocation.
∎ Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
∎ Design, develop and implement the project management best practices that suitable for managing special projects and ensure that project compliance are strictly followed as set by the PMU.
∎ The team lead of special project is expected to provide strong leadership in a complex and matrix projectile environment to promote project management best practices in order to ensure successful project delivery.
∎ This role will also ensure that, the project resources have the relevant skills, knowledge and tools and they are practicing the guidelines provided by PMU.
∎ Ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organization.
∎ Responsible for directing the project team to manage the project scope, budget and schedule.
∎ Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
∎ Ensure that information recorded in both electronic and hard copy meets with internal and external audit standards.
∎ Ability to monitor and report on project budgets across the portfolio at stakeholder and Sponsor levels
∎ Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
∎ Focused on Technology division AOP objectives, activates and deliverables.

∎ Leadership Skills.
∎ Providing direction & vision.
∎ The Manager Projects should possess the following knowledge relate to project management:
∎ Extensive knowledge on project management methodologies and framework.
∎ Advance Knowledge on the skills, tools and techniques of project management framework (PMI or Prince2).
∎ Breadth (not depth) in specific application/industry knowledge.
∎ Coach/mentor team members.
∎ Issue & conflict resolution.
∎ Effective decision making, Negotiation, Communication and Team building.
