Requirements:
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in utility maintenance (STP, pumps, compressors, electrical panel boards, submersible motors).
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical panel troubleshooting (MCC, LT panels, VFDs, motor control)
- Hands-on experience in pump, compressor, and submersible maintenance
- Preventive & corrective maintenance expertise
- Good understanding of safety standards in plant operations
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility systems including STP panel boards, pumps, compressors, submersible motors, and related electrical panels to ensure uninterrupted power plant support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) panel boards and related equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance of pumps, compressors, scrap set, and submersible motors (levels -2 & -3 sewageline).
- Carry out inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of all power plant panel boards (MCC, LT, control panels, etc.).
- Identify technical faults and perform corrective action to minimize breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standard operating practices during maintenance work.
- Support utility operations to maintain continuous and efficient power plant performance.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, breakdowns, and spare parts usage.
Other: Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
