Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

The Head of Sales – Retail/Showroom Network will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic and operational aspects of the entire retail and showroom sales network. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in retail sales management, team leadership, and business development across a wide network of showrooms or retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive retail sales strategies at the national level to meet and exceed organizational sales goals.
  • Oversee the expansion of the retail network, including the planning, setup, and successful launch of new showrooms or plazas.
  • Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to inform pricing, promotional activities, and product positioning strategies.

Sales Operations

  • Manage and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives across all retail outlets.
  • Ensure uniform implementation of sales policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and customer service protocols across the network.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support in-store campaigns, brand positioning, and promotional initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise the retail sales team comprising Zonal Managers, Showroom Managers, and Sales Executives.
  • Define performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs); conduct regular coaching, performance appraisals, and capability development sessions.
  • Cultivate a high-performance, target-oriented team culture focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Customer Experience

  • Maintain a superior level of customer service and satisfaction across all showroom touchpoints.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints effectively, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.

Inventory & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams for inventory planning, demand forecasting, and timely stock replenishment.
  • Ensure optimal stock availability and product visibility across all sales outlets.

Reporting & Performance Analytics

  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and dashboards for senior management review.
  • Leverage data analytics to refine sales strategies and enhance operational performance
