Job Context:
∎ Maintaining Access to Safe Water and Sanitation for Rohingyas in Bangladesh Project.
∎ The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure effective implementation of WASH interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Improved WASH Services.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure effective implementation of the WASH services following the work plan through necessary guidance by the supervisor.
∎ Prepare drawing, design and overall supervision of different WASH infrastructures for construction, up gradation and rehabilitation as well as collaborative work with logistic/ procurement.
∎ Technical supervision and cross checking of construction materials of WASH infrastructure before construction/installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
∎ Review the existing technologies and analyzing the better performance.
∎ Determination of the vulnerability, effectiveness and the technical and financial aspects of those technologies by conducting feasibility study.
∎ Necessary modification of the existing water and sanitation technologies to make it more robust in terms of different vulnerabilities of the project areas.
∎ Designing technical curriculums, lesson plans, modules, standard operational produce and handouts for technical skill training related to water supply and sanitation technologies.
∎ Assist to plan the activities according to the project document.
∎ Assist in project activities implementation and prepare activity reports.
∎ Asst. to prepare monitoring tools according to the project indicators.
∎ Assist project team by ensuring proper WASH services in designated area.
∎ Perform other duties relevant to the project as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working experience with NGO, Development Agency in WASH response.
∎ Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
∎ Work experience in Cox's bazar preferable.
∎ Professional work experience in different WASH project implementation, monitoring, operation and reporting.
∎ Experience in the design, construction and supervision of WASH infrastructure.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (AutoCAD, GIS, MS Word, Excel and project management software).
∎ Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox's Bazaar).
∎ Medium in English (written/verbal).
Salary: Tk. 84857 (Monthly)
