Job Context:
∎ SHIMANTIK is a national NGO, implementing `COVID-19 Response Project in Dhaka, Bangladesh in collaboration with Save the Children in Bangladesh. SHIMANTIK is looking for a qualified candidates as Emergency Response Manager under `COVID-19 Response Project`.
∎ Duration: Initially for 4 months.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall supervision of the all COVID-19 response activities by Shimantik.
∎ Develop detail implementation plan for SHIMANTIK activities and budget in line with approved work plan and budget
∎ Support to Rapid Response Team of COVID-19 response project and identify the gaps in health facilities where support is needed in regards to HRs, supplies for Oxygen, Oxygen-equipment, consumables / selected logistics/equipment for COVID-19 case management and IPC.
∎ Ensure HRs, supplies for Oxygen, Oxygen-equipment, consumables / selected logistics /equipment for COVID-19 case management and IPC) in project supported facilities basing on the identified gaps.
∎ Hire HR(s) as per the necessity of the government health facilities.
∎ Coordinate with SCI COVID-19 team and procurement team to arrange purchase of any emergency equipment/consumables required for the COVID-19 designated facilities.
∎ Coordinate with SCI's COVID-19 Response team and other MaMoni programs (SNMP, Momota, MaMoni MNCSP) to support triage and IPC in health facilities
∎ Support orientation/training activities for service providers and non-clinical support staff on IPC (led by DGHS and other partners) at national level.
∎ On-site follow up and support at District hospitals and UHCs to monitor the implementation of the IPC protocols
∎ Liaison with DGHS and sub-national government coordination structures warranted by the COVID-19 situation
∎ Undertake effective monitoring and supervision initiatives of project staffs and vendor's activity to ensure quality implementation of project activities
∎ Conduct periodic on-site and virtual supervision and monitoring of the case management and IPC activities in the assigned facilities/ districts hospitals
∎ Contribute to weekly updates and inputs to various Situation Reports (sitrep)
∎ Manage and align the program activity according to design in coordination with program head (lead)
∎ Maintain liaison with different stakeholders
∎ Supervise staffs in a regular basis
∎ Coordinate with private sectors hospitals to support capacity building activities
∎ Manage to support the training activities in public and private sector hospitals
∎ Arrange meeting involving all stakeholders

Salary:
∎ 1,50,000/month (In total)
