Responsibilities & Context:

• Provide technical support to production and maintenance departments to minimize machine downtime.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair industrial electronics PCBs and control boards at component level.

• Repair and maintain SMPS, power supply, inverter, VFD and servo drive boards.

• Troubleshoot MOSFET, IGBT, diode, rectifier, capacitor, relay, optocoupler, regulator and driver circuits.

• Perform fault diagnosis of PLC, HMI, I/O modules and industrial control systems.

• Troubleshoot PLC-HMI communication, RS-485, Modbus, Ethernet and other industrial communication systems.

• Diagnose and repair servo drives, servo motors, encoders and feedback systems.

• Troubleshoot knitting machine electronic cards, control cards, drive cards, sensor cards and power boards.

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial sewing machine control cards, servo controllers and related electronic systems.

• Diagnose electrical and electronic problems in offset printing and label/printing machines.

• Identify and troubleshoot faults in sensors, proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, encoders, limit switches and actuators.

• Read and interpret electrical, electronic and machine control circuit diagrams.

• Use multimeter, oscilloscope, LCR meter, DC power supply and soldering/rework equipment for fault diagnosis and repair.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial electronic equipment.

• Analyze machine error codes and identify the root cause of equipment failures.

• Replace defective electronic components and perform SMD/through-hole soldering and rework.

• Test repaired PCB/control cards under proper operating conditions before installation.

• Install, commission and troubleshoot VFD, servo drive, PLC and HMI systems.

• Check machine wiring, power supply, grounding, control signals and communication connections.

• Maintain records of repaired boards, machine faults, replaced components and service activities.

• Attend customer/factory sites when required for machine breakdown, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.

• Maintain spare electronic components, control cards and critical replacement parts.

• Coordinate with production, electrical and mechanical maintenance teams to resolve machine problems.

• Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure safe handling of high-voltage/DC-bus equipment.

• Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) of repeated PCB, drive and machine failures.

• Develop preventive-maintenance procedures to reduce machine downtime.

• Support machine modification, automation improvement and control-system upgrades.

• Maintain technical documentation, circuit diagrams, PLC/HMI backups and machine parameters.

• Recommend suitable replacement components, drives, PLCs and control cards when obsolete equipment fails.
