JOB PURPOSE
To supervise, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of the Electrical department to ensure that all activities comply to applicable Industry Standards, and are met according to the budget and timetable.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Daily Operations
• Undertake activities in electrical department as per directives of Electrical Supervisor.
• Material & time budget estimation for electrical onboard and relevant repair activities.
• Making supervision for his team during work
• Keep work area as cleanness as possible.
• Distribute available manpower in group to optimum and multitasking.
• Ensure safe working practices and PPE for all workmen and compliance of all safety procedures
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedure for the assigned team.
Continuous Improvement
• Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices.
Health & Safety
• Maintain an awareness of all health and safety rules applying to the assigned tasks and tools to ensure that safe working practices are observed.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal:
• Interaction with Electrical Supervisor and workmen in department
External:

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
Minimum Experience:
• 2 – 4 years of experience as Electrical foreman
Job-Specific Skills:
• Excellent Marine Electrician trade skills
