MBA & business backgound will be given preference.
Experience in relevant roles in sales and distribution; Candidates from FMCG industry will be given preference.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
Develop and implement divisional sales strategies to achieve sales targets (both in terms of value and volume) and ensure optimum product availability, distribution and visibility.
Ensure primary sales order flow and take ownership of verifying and driving secondary sales performance.
Monitor distributors’ inventory levels, ensuring compliance with stock management norms such as FIFO, FEFO, and adequate safety stock.
Directly supervise RSM/ASM and oversee the activities of the entire field force – including FSOs, TSOs, ASMs, and distributors – to ensure alignment with company goals.
Lead and coordinate channel development initiatives, including identifying and establishing new markets, territories, and distribution channels to drive sales growth in coordination with Sales and Factory Distribution.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, wholesalers and other external stakeholders.
Prepare and review periodic sales reports, analyze sales trends and field performance, and measure the effectiveness of current programs and plans.
Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors and facilitate smooth processing of claim settlements and adjustments.
Develop sales forecasts and plans on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis; track performance against targets and recommend corrective actions where needed.
Provide regular business updates and insights to the Distribution team, Regional Sales Manager, and Head of Sales, including key field intelligence and competitor activities.
