Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

To lead, manage, and ensure the effective implementation of BRAC’s health programme operations across the division, focusing on quality delivery of essential services such as maternal and child health, NCDs, and eye care, in alignment with programme goals

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall implementation of the BRAC Health Programme across districts under the assigned division.

  • Provide administrative support to the field staff. Maintain liaison between management level and field operation for planning and effective operation at field.

  • Supervise district and upazila-level health teams, providing guidance, capacity building, and performance monitoring.

  • Ensure the achievement of programme targets of health interventions.

  • Check, verify and update all financial and administrative recording and proceedings at head office level including updating all files and registers; checking the bill/voucher; account checks for miscoding; audit compliance etc.

  • Conduct staff meeting at district and for performance review and provide guidance inputs for optimum achievement.

  • Coordinate with BRAC support departments (M&E, HR, Finance, Logistics, etc.) to facilitate smooth programme operations.

  • Responsible for staff recruitment, performance appraisal and capacity development.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
