Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capacity building for volunteers and network members
∎ Mapping and capacity assessment existing CSOs & CBOs.
∎ Mobilize Dalits and Ethnic minority community and assist them to form CBOs
∎ Ensure effective communication among volunteers, change agents and stakeholders.
∎ Organize awareness and advocacy events at local level.
∎ Ensure event reports and periodic programme reports on time.
∎ Ensure activity wise data and reports to use as references.
∎ Conduct fact finding of rights violation, atrocities against minorities and provide support as necessary
∎ Provide support to community level safety audit to assess the risk of Dalit and Ethnic women and girls.
∎ Effective collaboration with the implementing partners, stakeholders and government organizations
∎ Perform any other responsibilities assign by the Project Coordinator and NU management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience of working with minority community (e.g. Dalits and Ethnic Minority)
∎ Skills on capacity building, awareness, advocacy and networking
∎ Ability to organize training and advocacy events independently
∎ Ability to networking to influence and work with partners and stakeholders.
∎ Ability to work in collaboration with consortium partners
∎ Computer skill in MS-Office Application and using internet (e.g browsing, email, facebook, twetter, instagram, whatsapp, viber, imo, etc.)
∎ Ability to work under pressure, ready to take challenges and ability to motivate team members
∎ Report writing skills in Bangla (Bijoy), skills in writing report in English will be given preference
∎ The positions are based at divisional city, however required extensive visit to the district and upazilla level.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 23000 - 25000 (Monthly)
∎ Festival allowance equal to one month salary in a year and other benefits.
