∎ LL.M with LLB Honors and Enrolled with Bangladesh Bar Council as an Advocate.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Name of Position: District Project Officer
∎ Name of Project: Justice and Prison Reform for Promoting Human Rights and Preventing Corruption in Bangladesh, a joint Project of the Ministry of Home Affairs and GIZ.
∎ Major responsibilities of District Project Officer are as follows:
∎ To take charge of the Paralegal Advisory Services (PAS) in the respective area;
∎ To convene daily meeting with the Paralegals and supervise their day to day activities;
∎ To facilitate and represent PAS in the monthly Case Coordination Committee meeting;
∎ Contribute to the others components related activities of the project;
∎ To contact with the Project Coordinator and other team members of the project as and when required;
∎ To take the responsibility for compiling data and prepare reports for the Project, criminal justice system and other stakeholders;
∎ To meet as required with the Prison, Judiciary, Administration, Police, District Legal Aid Committee, Lawyers, Health Department, Women and Children Affairs Department, Social Service Department and other Institutions of Criminal Justice System in order to implement project activities smoothly and effectively;
∎ To carry-out other activities as and when required by the Project Coordinator.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidate having practical experience in the field of muti-stakeholder environment especially in legal support will be preferred;
∎ Partnership management and working experience with government, NGOs and Private agencies;
∎ Good in motivation and facilitation skill;
∎ Good verbal and written skill in both Bangla and English.

Salary: Tk. 29886 (Monthly)
